DOA Policy

All DOA (Dead On Arrival) claims must be made within 2 hours of the first delivery attempt. If you'd like to submit a claim for a DOA item, follow the instructions below. Some coral species such as hammer coral, torch coral, frogspawn coral among others will commonly pull their tissue into their skeleton during shipping.

-TAKE 2 PHOTOS CLEARLY DISPLAYING THE DEAD OR DYING ITEM FROM DIFFERENT ANGLES. ITEM MUST BE IN IT'S ORIGINAL PACKAGING. 

-TAKE A 20 SECOND VIDEO CLEARLY SHOWING THE ITEM IN QUESTION AND THE BOX THAT IT WAS PACKED IN WITH SHIPPING LABEL DISPLAYED.

-EMAIL YOUR PHOTOS AND VIDEO TO support@alienaquatics.com

IN THE EVENT A CORAL ARRIVES TO YOU PARTIALLY RECEEDED OR SALVAGEABLE AND YOU'D LIKE TO ATTEMPT TO SAVE IT, SUBMIT YOUR DOA CLAIM AND GO THROUGH A STANDARD ACCLIMATION AND CORAL DIP PROCEDURE BEFORE PLACING IT IN YOUR AQUARIUM.

Alien aquatics assumes all buyers to be adequate reef keepers. Alien aquatics is not be responable for any delays by the shipping courier. Alien Aquatics does not offer returns on items due to the elevated stress on corals in the shipping process. While we strive to minimize stress in transit, it is out of our control once corals have left our care. Credit towards a future order will be issued for approved DOA claims. Credit from a past DOA claim can not be used on shipping costs.

ANY OPENED BAGS OR UNCLEAR PHOTOS WILL BE CONSIDERED AN INVALID DOA CLAIM.
